I was born in Gillingham in March 1965. When I left school I started work for Marks & Spencer, whilst running a youth group and playing in a rock band. (My first band was called ‘The Headaches’!) In 1988 I moved to London where I worked for a charity called Oasis Trust on and off for the next 18 years. I did national and local youth work and trained at Spurgeon’s College as a Baptist Minister. I was ordained in 1994 and as well as working for churches I was Business Development Director for Ocean Blue Design in Carshalton.
In 2006 I moved to Worthing to do church based ministry and in September 2014 I started Soul Place.
I married the gorgeous Rachel, in 1984 and we have 2 wonderful grown up kids Mike and Sophie.
I love spending time with family, reading, walking on the beach, cooking, tasting single malt whisky and dreaming up new ways of helping people connect with the Divine. I have started paddle-boarding and would love to learn to kitesurf!
